The first National Certificates on Computer Operation were awarded to a group of public servants that attended the computer training courses in the framework of the pilot project on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) training of 150 civil servants.

Expression of Interest

UNDP Moldova intends to encourage new vendors to register for purchasing/provision of services on conducting different project/programme events (conferences, seminars, contests). One of the first events of this kind will be the WEBTOP contest 2008.

The WEBTOP contest is promoting the use of Internet as a modern and effective means of communication, learning, presentation and promotion, as a space for doing business, on-line service, data exchange and opinions expression. The contest will be open for registration of participants from February 11 to March 20, 2008.

The Award procedure for WebTop contest 2007 will be organized within the Information Technology Week 14-21 April, 2008.

The services will include: a) organization of the awarding ceremony (logistics and content); b) organisation of web-sites evaluation in accordance with revised Regulation and conditions for participation as well as evaluation criteria ( www.webtop.md ), recommendations regarding improvement of evaluation process ; c) organization of promotional campaign;

The interested companies are invited to submit the following documents:

  1. Company profile (size, year established, experience);
  2. Copies of original documents defining the constitution or legal status, place of registration;
  3. Letters of reference from at least three (3) clients to whom your company has provided goods/services over the past twelve (12) months;
  4. The qualifications and competence of the technical personnel;
  5. Applicants may provide one set of catalogues concerning the organization of contests, conferences, seminars, etc.

These notices do not constitute solicitations. The United Nations reserves the right to change or cancel these requirements at any time in the EOI and/or solicitation process.

Thus submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee a firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued.
